For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little. Isaiah 28:10.

The more we know God, the more we want to know Him (or at least that’s how it’s supposed to be).

Ok so we try (Lord knows we do! And y’all know that the struggle can be real!).

But we won’t stop trying.

As frustrating as the workings of this process could be sometimes, we won’t stop trying because our goal is to grow in faith and go deeper with God.

Dr Elmer Towns discusses seven ways to grow in faith, in this article.

– Study and memorize the Word of God.

– Follow Biblical principles.

– Confess your sins to God.

– Surrender to the Lordship of Jesus Christ.

– Have constant communion with Jesus Christ.

– See difficult experiences as opportunities to grow in faith.

Remember that we are not without help.

As much as we want to know God, He wants to reveal Himself to us. So draw near to Him – we have His Word that He would draw near to us.
